Before moving from a poster to a booking
Check the event date, year, full property name and room alongside the artist's name. An old poster appearing in search results does not show that the programme is still current. Find the latest announcement through the hotel or organiser's official channel; also verify that your ticket seller is authorised for the event.
Elexus's official events page is one example for checking dated programmes. Lord’s Palace's entertainment page lists different venues within the property separately. Knowing the hotel name does not mean knowing the event entrance. Use these links to obtain confirmation for your own travel dates.
Check the room, concert admission and table separately
| What you are purchasing | Ask in writing |
|---|---|
| Accommodation | Dates, room, meal plan and check-out conditions |
| Concert admission | Whether included in the package, with any separate ticket or attendee registration |
| Table or seating | Category, seating arrangement and per-person/total coverage |
| Food and drink | What is included in the same price as the concert product |
| Changes | Who to contact if the programme or flight changes |
If bringing children, ask about the event's age rules and seating arrangement. Even if the hotel accepts families, a specific concert may have different conditions. Do not assume cancellation of a concert automatically cancels flights, rooms and car bookings; retain each purchase's own terms.
Do not squeeze your flight day against the concert time
Landing, luggage, leaving the airport, reaching the hotel, settling in and entering the event are separate steps. Do not treat the whole gap between scheduled landing and concert start as available time. Arriving the day before the event, where possible, gives more flexibility for flight changes or tiredness.
If arriving on the same day, the first aim is reaching the correct accommodation and event address, not taking a long outing before the concert. If collecting a car at Ercan, align your flight number and any changes with the flight-time collection plan . If a transfer package is included, you can assess rental only for separate daytime outings.
A flexible example schedule for two nights
Example programme: The schedule below is not a timetable for a particular concert or flight. Adapt it to your event's date, entry time and journey.
| Day | Main plan | Flexible part |
|---|---|---|
| Arrival | Transport, settling into the hotel and a meal | A short local walk only if suitable |
| Concert day | Rest, preparation and confirmed event transport | A nearby daytime break if not tired |
| Return | Check-out, car return or transfer, and flight | Brief shopping if there is enough time |
Do not make Bellapais, St Hilarion or a distant city outing a compulsory stop before the concert. For a longer holiday, allocating the full sightseeing day to another date creates a more relaxed programme.
If attending a concert at another hotel
Tell the transport arranger separately about accommodation, event venue and night-time return addresses. Save entrance and exit locations; choose a meeting point for the crowds after the concert. Your hotel's airport transfer may not include travel to a concert at another property.
Do not drive on an evening involving alcohol. Arrange a confirmed taxi, hotel or organiser transfer, or an appropriate non-drinking driver beforehand. Do not assume you will find a driver or return time at the last minute; establish whom to contact if the event's finishing time changes.
Choose the non-concert day according to your own needs
If adding sightseeing to your concert trip, choose one day from the two- and three-day Kyrenia plan . Look first at the accommodation locationand then transport needs. One sightseeing day does not mean a one-day rental is offered; compare the model, minimum period, collection and return terms for your dates.
If your main need is choosing a venue for the evening rather than travelling for a particular concert, go to the evenings-in-Kyrenia guide . When event, accommodation and transport are confirmed separately, programme changes become easier to manage too.
