Yes. Car delivery and return within Nicosia can be arranged free of charge. If you would like to return the car in a different city, simply let us know when making your reservation. Any additional location-based fee, if applicable, will be communicated to you in advance.
Can I pick up or return a rental car outside regular working hours in Nicosia?
Yes. If your pickup or return time in Nicosia is outside our regular operating hours, simply let us know when making your reservation. Subject to availability, the process can be arranged in advance, and our phone and operational support is available 24/7.
Can I return the car at a different location after picking it up in Nicosia?
Yes. You can arrange to return a car picked up in Nicosia at a different location. If you would like to return the vehicle at Ercan Airport, Kyrenia, Famagusta, or another location in Northern Cyprus, simply let us know when making your reservation. If applicable, any additional location-based fee will be determined according to the distance and communicated to you before the reservation is confirmed.
Can I pick up my rental car from Ercan late at night or early in the morning?
Yes. If you have a reservation in advance, vehicle pickup can be arranged for late-night or early-morning flights. Our staff and vehicle preparation are organized in advance according to your flight time. Our phone and operational support is available 24/7.
How long does it take to pick up a rental car at Ercan Airport?
Under normal circumstances, the process from meeting our team to driving away with your vehicle takes approximately 15–20 minutes. The rental agreement, vehicle photos, mileage, and fuel records are prepared before your arrival to ensure that the handover process is as quick and smooth as possible. This timeframe does not include passport control or baggage claim.
How do I return the car I rented at Ercan Airport?
Before your return date, we will share the location and contact details of the team member who will receive your vehicle. When you arrive at the ERM vehicle return point near Ercan Airport, the vehicle’s general condition and fuel level will be checked. Once the process is completed, we will drop you and your luggage off at the Ercan Airport departures entrance.
How long before my return flight should I return the car?
To ensure you have enough time for your flight, we recommend arriving at the ERM vehicle return point approximately 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. Under normal circumstances, the vehicle inspection and return process takes around 10 minutes. If there is any change to your flight or return time, simply inform our team as early as possible.
Can I return the car I picked up from Ercan in Kyrenia or another location?
Yes. You can return the car you picked up from Ercan free of charge in Kyrenia. If you would like to return the vehicle in Nicosia, Famagusta, İskele, or another location, simply let us know when making your reservation. For return locations outside Kyrenia and Ercan, any applicable additional fee will be determined based on the distance and communicated to you before the reservation is confirmed.
Where is the car handed over at Ercan Airport?
After collecting your luggage, follow the directions sent to you to meet in front of Mirandus Cafe outside the terminal. The team takes you to the nearby ERM handover area; the vehicle check and the agreement are completed there. Ercan meeting point and handover details.
Can I collect the car from the office or my hotel in Kyrenia?
You can collect your car from our office at Neo Park Mall. Delivery to hotels, homes and accommodation addresses in central Kyrenia is free of charge. Share your full address and time in your booking; for addresses outside the centre, check the coverage and any charge. Kyrenia delivery options.
What should I do for car delivery in Nicosia?
Select Nicosia in your booking and share your full address and your pick-up and return times. The delivery plan for your address and any charge for returning at a different point are confirmed in your booking. See the Nicosia delivery terms.
Can I return a car collected in Kyrenia at Ercan?
Yes. Pick-up and return at different points can be planned between Kyrenia and Ercan; under the published terms, returns between these two points are free of charge. State your return point in your booking. For other areas, check any location charge in advance.
Will my booking be cancelled if my flight is delayed?
A flight delay on its own does not mean your booking is cancelled automatically. Send your new arrival date and time as early as possible; the team will update the handover plan. If your flight is cancelled or moved to the next day, let us know separately. Flight change guide.
Can I collect a car late at night or early in the morning?
Night and early-morning handovers can be planned for bookings confirmed in advance. Let us know your needs together with your flight and handover details. 24/7 phone support does not mean a car is ready at any hour without a booking.
What fuel level should I return the car with?
Return the car with the fuel level recorded when you collected it. The cost of missing fuel and any service charge are calculated according to the rental terms. Read the return checklist.
Reservation
If my flight is delayed, will my car reservation be cancelled?
No, a flight delay does not automatically mean that your reservation will be cancelled. If you inform us as early as possible, we can adjust your vehicle delivery arrangements according to your updated arrival time. If your flight details are available, our operations team can also monitor the status of your flight.
What information should I have ready to start a booking?
Prepare your pick-up and return dates and times, locations, and driver and contact details. Add your flight number for Ercan and the exact location for address delivery. Also state your passenger, luggage and child seat needs.
Which documents should I bring to the handover?
Have your valid driving licence and your ID card or passport ready. Complete the document verification steps requested during booking. Follow the handover instructions rather than assuming that a phone photo of your documents will be enough.
Does searching for a car create a booking?
A car search is for reviewing the available options. After completing the booking steps, check your confirmation status and booking number. An information request or a WhatsApp message alone does not count as a vehicle allocation or a booking confirmation.
Until when can I cancel my booking?
Under the published terms, you can submit your cancellation request at least 24 hours before the pick-up time. The right to cancel does not mean an automatic full refund; refund requests are assessed according to the booking and payment terms. Cancellation and refund terms.
Can I extend my rental period?
Contact our team before the planned return time. An extension is approved after checking vehicle availability, the new period and the price. Exceeding the time in the agreement may lead to an additional usage charge.
What should I look at when comparing prices?
Compare the total rental price for the same dates, times and pick-up points. Also read the terms for extra equipment, drivers, mileage and returns at a different point. Treat the deposit or pre-authorisation as a separate item. Price comparison table.

Delivery
Where will I meet ERM at Ercan Airport?
After collecting your luggage, exit through the terminal and cross the pedestrian crossing. You can meet our ERM field team in front of the Mirandus Cafe on the left. Up-to-date meeting and vehicle details are also shared via WhatsApp before delivery.
If my flight is delayed, will my vehicle reservation be cancelled?
If your flight is delayed, simply staying in touch with ERM is enough. Your new arrival time is passed to the reservation and field teams, and the delivery plan is updated to match your new landing time as much as possible.
If I land at Ercan at night or early morning, can I still collect my vehicle?
Yes. For pre-confirmed reservations, planned vehicle delivery can be arranged for night and early-morning flights. Field staff and vehicle planning are prepared in advance based on your reservation time.
How long does vehicle delivery take at Ercan Airport?
Under normal operating conditions, the meet-and-deliver process takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Airport congestion and your terminal exit time may affect the total duration.
Where is the vehicle delivered in Kyrenia?
Our main delivery point in Kyrenia is the ERM Rent a Car office at Neo Park AVM. You can collect your vehicle from our office or request free delivery to your hotel or accommodation address in central Kyrenia.
Do you deliver a vehicle to my hotel or home in Kyrenia?

How many minutes does it take to drive from Ercan Airport to Kyrenia?
Travelling by car from Ercan Airport to Kyrenia takes approximately 40 minutes under normal traffic conditions. The time may vary depending on traffic and road conditions.

Which documents do I need when collecting my rental car?
Please bring your valid driving licence together with your ID card or passport when collecting the vehicle. If any additional verification is required due to the booking or payment conditions, we will inform you before collection.
Do you deliver the car to my hotel in Nicosia?
Yes. We deliver free of charge to hotels and accommodation addresses in central Nicosia. Just add your address during booking.
How long is the drive from Ercan Airport to Famagusta?
The roughly 50 km drive takes about 40-45 minutes in normal traffic.
How long is the drive from Ercan Airport to Güzelyurt?
The roughly 60 km drive takes about 50 minutes in normal traffic.
Do you deliver the car to my resort at Long Beach?
Yes. We deliver free of charge to resorts and hotels in the Long Beach area. Just add your address during booking.
Can I collect my car when I land at Ercan Airport?
Yes. You can request delivery at Ercan Airport by sharing your flight details when you make your booking. Delivery is arranged according to your booking information and operational availability.
Can I pick up or return a vehicle outside office hours?
Our office is open between 09:00 and 18:00; however, our operations team is active 24/7. With prior notice, vehicle pick-up and drop-off can also be arranged outside office hours.
Can you deliver a car to my hotel in Kyrenia?
Subject to availability and the service area, a car can be delivered to your hotel or to another agreed address. Letting us know where you are staying at the time of booking makes it easier to plan the delivery in advance.
Which areas does ERM Rent A Car serve in North Cyprus?

Can I pick up the car at one location and drop it off at another?
Yes, you can pick up your vehicle at one location and return it at a different one. As defined in our system, an additional pick-up/drop-off fee may apply for this service.

How and when do I return the vehicle at the end of my trip?
Return details and the field staff's contact number are shared one day in advance. We recommend being at the ERM vehicle delivery/return point near Ercan Airport approximately two hours before your return flight. After the vehicle check, we drop you off with your luggage in front of the departures terminal.
Can I drop the vehicle off in a different city?
Yes. Return can be arranged at a different location between Ercan Airport and Kyrenia. The delivery/return conditions applicable in Nicosia, Famagusta, Iskele, and other regions, along with any distance fee, are confirmed at the time of reservation.
Can I leave the vehicle I picked up in Kyrenia at Ercan Airport?
Yes. You can collect your vehicle in Kyrenia and return it at Ercan Airport.
Can I return the vehicle in Nicosia or Famagusta?
Yes. Return at a different location is possible. Fees for return points outside Kyrenia and Ercan Airport vary by distance. You can find out the current fee from our WhatsApp line before booking.

Can I return the car in a different city or at a different location?
Returning the vehicle to a location other than where you collected it may be possible, subject to operational availability. We recommend requesting a different drop-off point when booking, or as early as possible.
Will I be charged extra if I exceed the return time?
The rental vehicle must be returned on the date and at the time stated in the agreement. If the scheduled return time is exceeded, an additional usage charge may apply. If you would like to extend your rental period, please contact us in advance.
Is there a fee for delivery or return to a different location?
At some of our locations pick-up and drop-off are free, while others carry an additional fee. The current amount is shown in the Pick-up and Drop-off information at the top of each location page.

Can I drive to Nicosia’s Walled City, and what is parking like?
Yes. You can drive to the Walled City, but since the streets in the historic center are narrower, it is more practical to leave your car in a suitable parking area and explore nearby attractions such as Büyük Han, Arasta, Bandabuliya, Selimiye Mosque, and Kyrenia Gate on foot. During busy hours, it is advisable to allow some extra time to find parking.
I will be driving in Northern Cyprus for the first time. What should I be aware of?
In Northern Cyprus, traffic drives on the left-hand side of the road, and most vehicles are right-hand drive. If you are driving here for the first time, we recommend being extra careful during your first few kilometres, especially at intersections, when making turns, and when choosing lanes. If you need assistance, our team can provide you with basic information about local roads and vehicle operation during the vehicle handover.
Which side of the road does traffic drive on in North Cyprus?

How can I plan a day trip in Kyrenia?

At ERM Rent a Car, the driver must be at least 24 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least three years. Additional age or licence requirements may apply to certain vehicle groups. The current requirements for your selected vehicle can be checked during booking.

Yes. Short-term visitors travelling to North Cyprus as tourists may drive using a valid Turkish driving licence. To rent from ERM Rent a Car, the driver must also meet our minimum requirement of being at least 24 years old and having held a valid licence for at least three years. Under current TRNC rules, foreign driving licences used by visitors are valid for up to 90 days from the date of entry.
Is a deposit or pre-authorisation taken?
A security deposit may apply depending on the vehicle class and booking details. If there is one, the amount, whether it is charged or blocked, and how it is returned are communicated before the rental is completed. Consider this amount separately from the total rental price.
Until when can I cancel my booking if my plans change?
Cancellation requests can be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled vehicle collection time. Cancellations made within the final 24 hours, as well as bookings that are not collected, may be assessed separately in line with the booking terms.

What does the insurance on the cars cover?
The insurance and comprehensive cover of ERM vehicles are set out in the rental agreement. Read the excess that may apply in case of damage and the exclusions before pick-up. Comprehensive cover does not mean that every damage is covered unconditionally or that the driver has no responsibility at all.
Is a security deposit required when I rent a car?
A deposit or pre-authorisation may apply depending on the vehicle class and the details of your booking. The guarantee amount and the refund process are communicated to the customer before the rental is finalised.
Can a second person drive the car?
Yes, a second person who will drive the car must be registered in the agreement as an additional driver. This person must also meet the minimum age of 24 and the 3-year licence requirement. Use by people not authorised in the agreement may affect the insurance and deposit terms.
Is there a mileage limit?
The mileage allowance may vary by vehicle category and rental period. Check the allowance defined for your booking and any excess charge before pick-up. If you are planning a long route, mention it when choosing your car.
Can a family member or friend also drive the car?
Every person who will drive the vehicle must be registered on the rental agreement. If you would like a second person to drive, you can add them to your booking as an additional driver. Additional drivers must also meet the minimum age of 24 and the three-year licence requirement.
Which payment methods can be used?
The published terms of service include online card payment, bank transfer, cash and POS options. Follow the payment step of the method you choose for your booking. Check the confirmation status of your booking separately from whether the payment has been made. Read the terms of service.
What happens if someone who is not listed on the agreement drives the car?
The vehicle may only be driven by drivers authorised in the rental agreement. If a person who is not named on the agreement drives the car, the validity of the insurance cover and any additional protection may be affected.
What should I do if the car breaks down, has an accident or is damaged?
Once you are safe, contact ERM on +90 533 877 11 71 and share your location and the situation. The team will guide you. In the event of an accident, the required official procedures and insurance records must not be skipped; cover and liability are assessed under the terms of the agreement.
Is mileage limited during the rental period?
Mileage terms can vary according to the vehicle category and the length of your rental. The allowance assigned to your booking, along with any excess mileage charge, is confirmed to you before the vehicle is handed over.
What fuel level should the car be returned with?
The vehicle is expected to be returned at the same fuel level as when you collected it. If fuel is missing, the cost of the shortfall and, where applicable, the related service charge may be calculated in line with the rental terms.
Are child seats available for families travelling with babies and young children?
Baby and child seats can be requested subject to availability. Specifying the equipment you need when creating your booking is particularly advantageous during peak periods.
Are automatic transmission cars available?
Yes. The ERM Rent A Car fleet may include automatic transmission options suited to a range of travel needs. Simply set your dates and review the available vehicles during booking.
Can I find an affordable economy car within my budget?
The fleet may include everything from compact models ideal for city driving and budget travel through to larger, comfort-focused options. You can choose the car that best matches your needs and budget, subject to availability.
What is the most important thing to know when driving in North Cyprus for the first time?
In North Cyprus, traffic drives on the left and vehicles are right-hand drive. During your first few days especially, take extra care with the direction of traffic when entering roundabouts, turning left or right, and exiting car parks.

Can I choose a car with automatic transmission?
Yes, the ERM fleet includes automatic cars. Check the transmission, fuel, seat and luggage details of your chosen model on the vehicle page, and check its availability for your dates.
Which car suits my family and our luggage?
Consider the number of adults and children, child seats, large suitcases and the pushchair together. Seven seats do not mean the luggage of seven people will fit; check the boot with all the seats you need in place. Choosing a car for families.
How do I request a child seat?
State your needs in your booking according to the child's age and size. According to the Kyrenia delivery information, baby and child seats are provided free of charge subject to availability. Confirm before pick-up that a suitable seat type is ready and fits your car.
