Which areas are the hotels in?
Hotels listed under Kyrenia have different locations. Lord’s Palace is on Dr Fazıl Küçük Avenue in Kyrenia; Kaya Palazzo is in Karaoğlanoğlu and Elexus in Çatalköy. If planning a harbour visit or an evening at another hotel, start the route at the entrance of your accommodation.

Central-distance information comes from the hotels' own publications; their reference points for “town centre” may differ. Check the route and time from your own hotel entrance on a current map. Match the full booked property name to the address and reassess for night any walk that appears suitable by day.
What does the transfer package include?
Airport transfers and Kyrenia town-centre shuttles are separate services. A hotel offering a service does not mean it is included in your purchased package. Clarify these five points in writing when booking:
- Arrival: Which airport, flight and passengers does the transfer cover?
- Departure: Is the return to the airport included; how will departure time and meeting point be communicated?
- Changes: What happens with delays, separate arrival flights, extra luggage or child-seat needs?
- Town-centre shuttle: If available, what are its stops, times, last return, booking and charge conditions?
- Events: Do a concert, special dinner or visit to another venue require separate tickets and transport?

Choose transport to suit your plan
If you will mainly stay at the hotel
First check the arrival and departure transfers in your package. If both are covered, compare a hotel shuttle with a return taxi or private transfer for a single outing. If the airport transfer is not included, add that journey to your total too. You may not need to hire a car for days when you will not use it.
If spending one day in central Kyrenia
If a hotel shuttle exists, first check its last return time. If the timetable does not suit you, obtain prices and meeting points for both directions. Combine the castle, museum and harbour in one central outing; for details use the one-day Kyrenia route . If you have an evening hotel programme, leaving Bellapais for another day makes returning easier.
If exploring different places over several days
Group outings by day and direction. Then compare two totals: separately paid transfers + return journeys and the full rental period + fuel + parking + any delivery/return charge. Do not count transfers confirmed as included in your package again as extra costs. Use the same people, luggage and dates for transport comparisons; add a separate night-time return to both options if needed. Child seats, a different return point or flexible timings may change your choice.
Allow for the rental period
ERM's homepage, checked on 12 October 2026, states a minimum rental period of 3 days. Therefore, do not compare a one-day outing with a one-day rental price. Confirm the period, additional services and total quote for your selected model and dates against current booking conditions .
If you have only one town-centre day, the total for a shuttle, taxi or private transfer may be more suitable; obtain actual quotes from both sides before deciding. If needing a car for several days, grouping outings on consecutive days may help.

Plan your night-time return beforehand
If drinking alcohol in the evening, choose a taxi, hotel or organiser transfer, or a non-drinking driver authorised to drive the vehicle. If leaving the car unused that evening, also plan where it will stay and how to collect it the next day.
When visiting another venue, keep the exit gate, meeting point, return address and contact telephone number handy. If the event finish does not match the shuttle time, arrange the return separately. Ask the relevant venue about current casino or event-area admission and reservation rules; do not treat a room booking as admission to every area.
If staying as a family, ask separately which areas children may use. Their evening programme and care arrangements should be planned alongside adults' transport.
